Federal Government Shutdown

Dear NAA Leaders,

As of midnight last night, the federal government has entered a shutdown. Depending on the length of the shutdown, rental housing providers will likely feel effects ranging from interruptions of federal Section 8 subsidies to the inability of federal employees to make rent payments.

The National Apartment Association (NAA) is proactively reaching out to share resources that help answer frequent questions and advise on resident interactions during these uncertain times. Additionally, NAA will provide live updates coverage throughout the shutdown as we learn of more information.
