I joined NVPOA in January of 2010, and could not be more pleased with my membership. As a realtor, I had an investor client who purchased a 4-plex and asked me to take over the management for them. I had managed my own income property for several years, but the idea of taking on the task for someone else was something I felt would require me taking my management procedures to another level. I had always had great experiences with my own tenets, but knew that it was just a matter of time before I would be challenged by a difficult tenant or situation. I have found the security I feel from using the forms and rental procedures provided by NVPOA to be a tremendous benefit. I am much more confident regarding the exact steps to take to process applicants, and how to best protect my client with consistent policies and up to date legal forms. My experiences with Jennifer have also been excellent. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field, and is always very there when questions arise. I cannot imagine renting property for myself or others now without NVPOA, and recommend the service to all of my investor clients.

As a professional with a full-time job, a family and managing a few rental units at the same time, I have found NVPOA to be an outstanding resource. I have called to ask many questions, I have used the forms library, and I read the newsletter particularly about new trends or topics (medical marijuana), etc. This has been worth every single penny. The only request I have is to change the meetings to evenings or downtown areas because I can't leave my job even for an extended lunch hour. It requires too much time to travel, attend the meeting and return to my daytime job. So I wish I could have more access to the educational meetings but I understand that timing is not going to work for everyone. Thanks for all you do.

Jennifer....I believe that the NVPOA is a vital function for anyone whom controls, rents or leases properties. The organization informs and allows managers/owners to function at a professional level providing protections for both owner as well as renters. I appreciate being a member and feel that I am making much better decisions regarding my properties because of the dedication, education opportunities, you and the organization provide. As a new member of NVPOA I would like to share with anyone who may be thinking of joining this organization that Jennifer Morris' help has been very valuable to me as I ventured on the rental of our home. I have owned a rental property in Paradise for approximately five years. On the advice of a local realtor, I joined North Valley Property Owners Association about seven months ago and it is by far the best move I've mad since becoming a landlord. I feel that I have a ready source of clear and correct information about rental issues as well as a forms library that can be downloaded to use in virtually every situation that arises.
