Adam started his real estate career in commercial real estate and property management while living in Orange County. In 2011, he and his wife moved back to Chico to be closer to family and continue his career in property management full time. Adam has held various positions within property management, and has managed nearly every property type from apartment complexes to historic downtown retail buildings. He has been active within the NVPOA the last three years and has held positions within both the social committee and legislative committee. Adam looks forward to being an advocate for landlord rights on the state and local political level, while helping continue landlord education the NVPOA has become known for.

Heatherlee comes to us with a diverse background. With a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology she has created a College Instructor Certification course, designed & manufactured exercise apparel in San Francisco in which she acquired a private label contract for all of Nordstroms stores. Prior to that she served in the US Marine Corps Reserves and worked as a model in San Francisco and New York.
Moving to Redding in 1991, she opened 10 boutiques, built 7 homes, created a small subdivision in Shasta County, and owned and managed 5 rental properties. Other recent endeavors include the opening of a private exercise facility with her husband who is a Medical Exercise Specialist, and a whole food meal replacement business.
In 2010 she worked as a maintenance coordinator for a property management company with 650 rentals, Heatherlee brings experience and knowledge in all aspects of income property management, including tenant screening, monthly accounting, and annual rental analysis.

He is currently overseeing the day to day operations of C Y Property Management, Inc., specializing in new technologies and marketing solutions. He is the Broker of Record for the company, a past graduate of the Certified Housing Professional Program, along with being a past NVPOA board member and is currently on the Education/Social committee for NVPOA.

Tonya Hernandez I started my career in Property Management in 1997. Over the past 20 years I have held many different positions with several Property Management companies throughout Oregon and California. In 2001 I took a short break from Property Management to work for an advertising agency in the Marketing department. In 2005 I started my own Property Management company in a small town in Oregon. In 2007 I moved to Redding, Ca. and started with BACO Realty Corporation as a Property Manager. In 2010 I was promoted to a Regional Manager with BACO Realty Corporation and ISM Management Company. I am currently overseeing 700+ units in Chico. I enjoy participating in community development and improvement. I have four children, two of whom are grown and live on their own. I live in Cottonwood, Ca. with my wonderful husband of 21 years and our two children. |

After returning in 1976 from his military service overseas as a Military Police and having attended Butte College and Chico State, Michael started H&R Construction, first building custom homes and later shopping centers and apartments. In 1982 he sold his interest to his partner and then started The Beautiful Tub Company. The first company north of Sacramento to do porcelain / fiberglass repair and refinishing. Selling the business to his employee Michael went on to be Property Manager / VP of RSC Assoc for 13 years. In this same time period he had served on the NVPOA board as a board member to the Board President in 1988. He has a history of serving in his community. Be it with the United Way of Butte and Glenn Counties for 22 years. The City of Chico Housing Task Force in 1988 to 1990 or the City Architectural Review Board 1986-1990.

In 2008 I became the Executive Director for the North Valley Property Owners Association (NVPOA). Since 2008 I have had the privilege of growing NVPOA from 374 members to 750, and representing just under 20,000 rental units. I am married to my high school sweet heart, Ron Morris, and have two beautiful daughters, Rylee and Jaylnn Morris.
